L Ganesh (LG) is Chairman of the Rs. 4,500 crores Rane Group, one of the acknowledged leaders in the auto component industry.
LG is a Chartered Accountant and also holds an MBA from the Pennsylvania State University, USA. Beginning his career as a Management Trainee in Rane Engine Valves Limited (REVL) in 1979 he progressively handled various responsibilities and became its Vice Chairman and Managing Director in 1990, Vice Chairman of the group in 1994 and Chairman in 2006.

Mr. Shankar founded CAMS (Computer Age Management Services Pvt. Ltd.) in 1988 to offer platform-based services to the Indian Mutual Fund industry. In 2000 the HDFC Group became an investor in CAMS, and in 2013 the National Stock Exchange also became an investor.

Venky was born into a family of Civil Service Officers and is a first-generation entrepreneur. He has a Master’s degree from Delhi University, and began his career as an IPS officer in 1979. In 1989, he retired from the IPS and set up a company for apparel export that today is an INR 230+ Crore export company called ‘Celebrity Fashions Ltd.’
In September 2000, witnessing a significant consumer need gap in the menswear market, he launched ‘Indian Terrain.’ The brand retails premium workwear and smart-casual clothing and has firmly established its presence across the country. Ramakrishnan (Ramki) is a veteran investment banker with over 25 years of experience across the entire spectrum of corporate finance and investment banking. He has advised leading business groups, entrepreneurs and corporates on raising capital from both Indian and overseas capital markets, as well as from Private Equity investors.
Additionally, he is Spark’s go-to man for all of their strategic relationships. Finely tuned into the ecosystem, he is Spark’s most visible face. With over two decades of experience including a stint at ICICI Securities as their Investment banking head for South India, Ramki brings trust and relationships to play at Spark and acts as a custodian of clients’ interests. He is an MBA from BIM, Trichy.
Karthik Krishnaswami, President, India Operations & Co-Founder, SCIO Health Analytics
Karthik has over 27 years of experience in the IT/BPO Industry in areas of operations, delivery, sales, M&A, and operations management. As Head of Operations Management for Chennai Delivery Center of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), he oversaw 20,000 employees and $1B revenues.
Karthik headed two acquisitions, Combined Benefits Insurance Company, Missoula, MT, and Phoenix Global Services, CT. He also headed the transformation for the largest BPO deal in insurance area (UK-based Pearl deal, valued at over $800M). Karthik has conceptualized and launched several strategic initiatives in leadership development, knowledge management (KM), and innovation.
Karthik holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science from University of Madras.
Ganapathy Venugopal, Co-Founder & CEO, Axilor Ventures
Ganapathy Venugopal (VG) is Co-founder and CEO of Axilor Ventures. Axilor Ventures is a platform for supporting innovation and entrepreneurship. Through its programs which include Accelerator, Scale-up and Early Stage Funding, Axilor aims to support early stage entrepreneurs improve their odds of success in e-commerce, healthcare and clean-tech.
VG has over seventeen years of experience in the areas of strategy, finance and consulting. Prior to co-founding Axilor Ventures, VG was Head of Strategy & Planning at Infosys. VG serves on the boards of several companies. Ganapathy holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a post graduate in management from IIM Lucknow.
Srikanth Narasimhan, co-founder, Veda Corp
Srikanth is a co-founder of Veda and has over sixteen years of well-rounded experience in investment banking, private equity and corporate planning. He has advised and assisted many companies in their funding plans and M&A. He has also invested in companies, been on their boards, taken part in their growth strategies and successfully raised funds/acquired businesses for growth.
Earlier, Srikanth was with Ernst & Young, leading the private equity and M&A activities in the technology & services sectors. Prior to that, he was with ICICI Venture, the private equity arm of ICICI Bank (listed on NYSE), investing and managing a portfolio of investments in the IT/ITES sectors. He was also with RelQ Software, the leading software testing services firm in India, managing their corporate planning activities including acquisitions and fund raising. He has corporate experience as well, having worked with companies like TATA Motors and TATA Technologies.
Srikanth has an MBA from IIM Bangalore and holds an Engineering degree from BITS Pilani.
